Terms of Service
Last updated: June 27, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Hoaster ("Hoaster", "we", "us") governing your use of the Hoaster service — the website at hoaster.app, the published-content domains (*.hoaster.page and any custom domains you attach), and the Hoaster MCP server at https://hoaster.app/api/mcp(together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. The Service
Hoaster is a hosting service for AI agents. You connect it to an AI assistant over the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and the assistant can publish content — an HTML page, image, or other web artifact — to a public URL that's yours, optionally on your own custom domain. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@hoaster.app if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Connecting AI assistants
You may authorize an AI assistant (such as Claude or ChatGPT) to access the Service on your behalf via OAuth 2.1. Anything that assistant does through the Service — including everything it publishes — is treated as done by you and is your responsibility, just as if you had done it yourself. You can revoke an assistant's access at any time from your AI client's connector settings.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you publish through the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and serve Your Content for the purpose of operating and providing the Service — for example, delivering it to visitors at your public URL. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content already cached by third parties (such as search engines) or retained in routine backups for a limited time.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to Your Content and that publishing it does not violate these Terms or any law or third-party right.
Publishing is public. Content you publish is made available at a public URL to anyone with the link and may be crawled or cached by others. Optional password protection adds a gate, but you should not publish sensitive personal data. You publish at your own discretion and risk.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to publish or do any of the following:
- Anything illegal, or that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Malware, phishing, deceptive or fraudulent pages, or content designed to harm or mislead visitors.
- Sexual content involving minors, content that promotes violence or harassment, or other abusive or hateful material.
- Spam, or attempts to manipulate search engines or other services.
- Activity that disrupts the Service — for example, probing, overloading, or circumventing limits, security, or authentication.
- Reselling or sublicensing the Service except as expressly permitted (e.g. publishing on behalf of your own clients under a plan that allows it).
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section, as described in "Suspension and termination" below.
6. Plans, billing, and payments
The Service offers a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Polar, which acts as our merchant of record; your purchase is also subject to Polar's terms. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges for your plan (monthly or annual) until you cancel.
- Renewals. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel anytime from the customer portal; your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period.
- Taxes. Prices may exclude taxes, which may be added where required.
- Plan limits. Each plan includes limits (such as spaces, storage, and custom domains). Bandwidth limits are soft — if you exceed them we will reach out about upgrading rather than taking your pages offline.
- Changes. We may change plan pricing or features; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes affecting your active plan.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were billed in error, contact us.
7. Custom domains
If you attach your own domain, you represent that you own or control it, and you authorize us to configure routing and issue TLS certificates for it through our infrastructure provider. You are responsible for your domain registration and DNS. We may stop serving a custom domain that is misconfigured, no longer under your control, or used in violation of these Terms.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided on an "as available" basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, or remove content, if you violate these Terms or the acceptable-use rules, if required by law, or to protect the Service or others. Where practical and appropriate, we will give notice. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as content license tails, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) survive.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service itself — including the Hoaster name, logo, software, and site content (excluding Your Content) — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding except as needed to use the Service.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or be secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hoaster will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred euros (€100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Hoaster harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content or your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located there will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you other rights.
